Croatia - Route des Grandes Alpes, July 2025

In short: 2 Americans - 1 boy and 1 girl, 1 motorcycle - a BMW R1250GS, one motorcycle tour and one goal - a nearly 4000 km long tour on the most beautiful roads south of the Alps.

California-based couple Erik and Laura had an irresistible and understandable desire to explore the landscapes, roads, mountain passes and natural beauty of Southern Europe, especially in Croatia, the Italian, Swiss and French Alps (including the Route des Grandes Alpes) and Tuscany.

So what could be more natural than exploring our pre-prepared "Croatia-Italy-France Adventure Tour"?
After some discussion, we finalised the details!

We provided them with complete route details in the form of a GPS track on a Garmin Zumo XT, as well as a nearly brand-new BMW R1250GS motorcycle, fully equipped with everything needed for such a tour.

After the bike had undergone its 20,000 km service and new tyres, the two picked it up from our Meet & Greet location in Trogir, near Split Airport.

And then their journey could begin.
