Racing Oschersleben (Germany), 08.2011

Category: Old school motorcycle racing experience

A special event was on the agenda. An event with PS Racecamp. Also from the party, Damian Cudlin and Lars Sänger.
Damian is certainly known to many through the

  • IDM Superbike Championship,
  • Endurance FIM World Championship,
  • World Super Sports Championship,
  • Australian Formula Xtreme Championship,
  • Australian Superbike Championship
  • AMA Superbike Championship and last but not least from
  • MotoGP.

I have to say impressively, a day with Damian, the Australian cowboy with his legendary cowboy hat, and together with him on the racetrack, the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, you can learn a lot. Learning riding techniques that you cannot learn yourself without professional tips.

And always there, Lars Sänger, expert when it comes to YAMAHA and Öhlins.
So in the best of hands.

The result of the day was the fastest lap time in practice. But unfortunately only starting position 4 in the sprint race, which means row 2.
After the first lap I already led the field of riders until shortly before the finish. What happiness. But then, shortly before the finish, I was overtaken by a former IDM pilot.
Stupid, but still proud.
Thank you Damian, thank you Lars for this day.
